             FLIRTY DANGLE EARRINGS
These beautiful earrings swing and sway with every move!  They catch the eye as well as being light and comfortable to wear.

Learn how to use tubing as accents along with embellishments and create function out of design.

You will have two size options for these designs as well as the ability of playing with the components to customize them slightly.  Make the bold statement option or a more subtle, delicate version.  We will be using larger pieces of metal to act as stops for hinges and to keep joints from coming undone, but making sure they are still part of the design aesthetic.

You may also make them in your preferred length.

Earrings not your thing?  Turn them into pendants!  Lots of ways to make these Flirty Dangle Earrings your own.

             FLOWER POWER RING
Stunning sums up this floral beauty. It is a challenge but the results are worth the effort!

Construction and forming are the key learning components to fabricating this flowing flowery ring.

You will spend the day learning how to form the petals and flowers into 3 dimensional shapes cut from sterling silver sheet.

You may choose between 2 design options for the flower sizes that you make,   Make the ring pictured here or make as many flower buds as will fit into the project/day.  These little buds will then be soldered onto two open wired sterling silver bands.

Kelly will introduce you to a new product that will aid in learning how to solder intricate pieces by utilizing a special soldering clay. It makes holding items so much easier when it comes to assembly.

This project is great for learning forming on a delicate scale as well as enhancing soldering skills.

             HINGED RIVETED BAR BRACELET
This bracelet turns heads. It is kinetic in nature and when on your wrist really catches the light!
Fun to make, comfortable to wear, this is a great way to perfect your riveting skills.   All the wires are riveted to one another to create fluid movement.  This is what  allows the freedom of flexibility and brings comfort to the design itself.

There are two options, one uses a thinner more delicate sterling silver square wire and the second utilizes a slightly heavier gauge,
The thicker gauge is recommended for those of you who are newer to silversmithing.

Choose to follow one of 2 design options provided for you or take on the challenge of designing your own piece with guidance.  If you design your own, you also gain the practice of calculating dimensions and structure for yourself.

We will finish this project off with a hook clasp that will blend seamlessly into the design of the bracelet.

This larger thicker link pictured here is for beginner level as it has predetermined lengths and uniform hinges.  A little less technical but still gorgeous!

             THAT'S A WRAP RING!

Picture

So pretty, playful and comfortable!

This reticulated wrap ring and gorgeous cabochon is the prefect mix of textured and smooth surfaces.

You will embrace the organic nature of reticulation and allow the metal to melt and merge making its own magic.  There will be a large selection of beautifully coloured stones and shapes to choose from. This design and stone selection makes each ring unique.

Working with different shaped stones and learning how to solder bezels to uneven surfaces makes this a fun but slightly challenging project.

Leave it highly polished with a mirror shine or apply a darkening patina to enhance the texture even more. .

This ring is perfect for gift giving or to sell as the band can be adjusted easily to fit any wearer!

ZEN PENDANT:
Back your piece with metal of choice or leave it see-through.

This piece is all about creativity and accents. Let the metal guide your organic and free flowing design. One aspect builds off of the other.

You will start with texturing (or not!) some of your sterling silver sheet and then bend it into partial Zen like circles.  Next, we piece together an organic circle by building layer upon layer and secure the segments together with rivets that have had their ends melted into balls. You may also choose to embellish with extras rivets for design rather than function.

Once the framework is constructed, you will set your round faceted stones. There will be a large selection of natural and cubic zirconia stones to choose from.  These will be flush set as accents on the pendant and time permitting you may add up to three settings in various sizes.
Fabricate a customized bail to compliment the rest of pendant.  Make it highly polished or oxidized, your choice.

Form, function and beauty in one piece!.
This project has the flexibility to be scaled up or down in level of  difficulty and is  adaptable to a wide variety of silversmithing abilities.
